Because we’re careful during blasting, we barely affect the wood’s texture – unlike amateurs who can cut grooves into logs – so generally only minimal touch-up sanding is required. We focus on smoothing any softer wood areas and feathering around carvings, corners, or between log grooves that the blaster might have missed.
